Gibb wrote "sining scst" in his contents list. It can be restored to "singing school steps" because of the text in the contents for photograph 99.

The stairs were at the back of the playground, close to Bedford Circus, the curving back wall of which can be seen here (the remains of Bedford Circus were demolished after the war to become Bedford Street / Princesshay).
