Making models of planes from balsa wood kits was a favourite pastime. There was a
focus on identifying war planes among the boys.

Probably date to March or April 1942, as it is similar to photographs of this type in the volume of negatives. There is no equivalent negatives (or missing negatives) to this photograph in the negative volume.
